The Manila City Hall

My sister and I visited the historic Intramuros last December. We were rushing to go to Ocean Park when I remembered it would be fine to take a photo of this well-known landmark in Manila. I used to work for a local newspaper located inside Intramuros and so this is a familiar sight.

I asked my sister to wait a second as I stole a moment to take this shot. It just so happened that when I clicked the shutter it was exactly 12 noon. Serendipity? I didn’t know until I cropped the photo. =)

I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

Hundred Islands

Hundred Islands

Hundred Islands in Alaminos, Pangasinan, Philippines

These are some of the photos I’ve taken with my camera phone last year.

Hundred Islands is a great place to visit, esp. during the summer season. The islands look like floating hills in the midst of a deep blue sea, very enchanting and magnificent.

You’re Worth How Much?

Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

~ MATTHEW 10:29-31, KJV
